Welcome!

Hello, Erikawicher98, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Reference links

In your addition to the cardiology article you included a URL which was, in part

jamanetwork.com.gate.lib.buffalo.edu

Links like these go through your library's proxy server and are only accessible to people with library access at your university. They don't work for other people and are often uninterpretable. Please use DOIs to generate references, or fill them in by hand. Thanks.

Much of the remainder of your contribution was unsourced. Wikipedia's sourcing requirements are especially strict for biomedical content. If you are editing medical content, please review the training module on Editing Medical Topics and abide by its recommendations. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 03:29, 31 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
