The new FDA warning regarding infliximab is information I hope really hits the media. I was told by my chemo nurse that any drup ending with mab is a monoclonal antibody. I am wondering when trastuzumab will end up with more FDA warnings. These drugs have been considered almost miracle drugs. But as a patient is on such a new medication I am continually looking for new warnings. Inflixamab is used for chron's disease and psoriasis as well as for back spondylosis (sp) it has many of the same side effect and warnings as Trastuzumab so I keep watching out for updates on these new medications. I hope that we don't hear about any more adverse reactions with the above Antibody. May 19, 2009
