Welcome!

Hello, Egroise, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} after the question on your talk page.

Your Special:Contributions/Egroise editing history shows you have been mainly adding information and links about OMFS and organizations associated with it. Since you are involved with the OMFS project, you obviously know a lot about them - but I would like to gently discourage you from continuing to promote individual organizations and projects with which you are involved. See our conflict of interest guideline for more about how and why to avoid most direct editing of these articles. It would be great if you would lend your expertise and enthusiasm to improving some of the more general concepts and ideas in our articles around microfinance and open source software. -- Siobhan Hansa 14:13, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I perfectly understand your point of view and I agree with it. I'm a beginner in the Microfinance area, so I naturally start by talking about what I best know. As soon as I learn more, I will help Wikipedia on different subjects about Microfinance. Tanks for your advises. Egroise 16:01, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Acted logo.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Acted logo.gif. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 14:56, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Six womens group kyrgyztan.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Six womens group kyrgyztan.jpg, which you've sourced to French Microfinance Organisation. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 05:37, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
