Hello. Before making potentially controversial edits, such as those you made to Backmasking, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Otherwise, people might consider your edits to be vandalism. Thank you. Λυδαcιτγ 19:08, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries, minor edits, and previewing edits

Hello. I wanted to point out some important matters of Wikipedia etiquette. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary to your edits so others will know what they are about. Also please review guidelines for major and minor edits so you can check the "minor edit" box when necessary; some editors need this because they don't look at minor edits. And finally, you can avoid a lot of rewriting of your edits by clicking "Show preview" instead of "Save page" to see how your edit looks before saving it; alternatively, you can use the sandbox to try out edits before placing them in articles. Thank you. Ward3001 01:05, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You seem to be an established editor, so I'll save the template, but I believe you realize the edits you made to George W. Bush and War on Terrorism were not appropriate. Please do not do it again. - auburnpilot talk 07:21, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

June 2010

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Lazarus of Bethany. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. (One could point to Osiris as an earlier example. This also assumes your edit was not meant as a joke.) Thanks. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 19:57, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
