The article Onward, Amazing People! has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreleased film per WP:NFF

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. File copyright problem with File:Onward movie poster.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Onward movie poster.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Image Screening Bot (talk) 12:40, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Jumper Cable Films requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. A tag has been placed on The Tower of Dudes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Page moves

Hello, I've moved two of your pages to user subpages, as discussed, and linked them from your user page User:Efinchley. Empty Buffer (talk) 13:22, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

Welcome to Wikipedia! Unfortunately I see that much of your work is likely to finish up deleted, due to not satisfying Wikipedia's inclusion criteria. I hope you will not be put off editing, but will stay and learn how Wikipedia works, so that you can contribute to it. Unfortunately there is a bewildering range of pages about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and it is totally unrealistic to expect a new user to read them all before getting started. However, the following may be of use to you in understanding what is required: Wikipedia:Notability, Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources, Wikipedia:Your first article. Also, if you have any questions please feel welcome to contact me on my talk page. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:25, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Jumpercablefilmlogo.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Jumpercablefilmlogo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 03:37, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:Efinchley/Onward, Amazing People!, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Efinchley/Onward, Amazing People! and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Efinchley/Onward, Amazing People! during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:55, 11 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article The Tower of Dudes has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability. The references include promotional pages, one or two pages that don't even mention "The Tower of Dudes", and one brief article which announced that the band was releasing its first CD.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
