Your redirect and move

Hello, Eeeeee, and welcome to Wikipedia. I was a little concerned when I saw you had moved the article Nynorsk to New-Norwegian language, without any discussion, or even a mention on the article's talkpage, that I could see. That's not exactly the way to move an important article. Could you move it back, please, and then initiate a discussion on the talkpage, if you want to argue for this name change? I'm sure many people would have input. Also, your move doesn't seem quite serious or determined, as you have left the word "nynorsk" in the article itself, as the name of the language. And I hope you don't mind if I ask why you have redirected your own userpage to Microsoft? This seems a strange action. I mean, you aren't Microsoft, right? To put it at the most literal level, redirects are not even supposed to go across namespaces, i.e. not, as in this case, from your userspace to article space. And userpages are supposed to be, well, userpages. Bishonen | talk 00:29, 17 June 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Since you didn't ask on the talkpage, I'm going to ask an admin to move the article back to Nynorsk, as it is the offical English name for it according to the Norwegian language counsil. Unconstuctive and controvertal moves may be considered vandalism, please use more caution in the future. --Eivindt@c 14:10, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User page

Please don't make your user page a redirect to an article. Thanks. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 14:42, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:MSN Virtual Earth.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:MSN Virtual Earth.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 13:27, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
