Bot

Hi, sorry for the late reply. Yes, I'm performing automated edits as part of a research project. The edit are minimal, basically consisting in cotributing new disease coded (medical resources) in the external link box.

I wasn't aware of some of the restrictions for bots. I've created a separate account DismanetBot to request approval for bot. I'll only use the current Dismanet account for manual edits, from now on. Could ypu please unlock the account? Thanks! Dismanet (talk) 07:42, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I created the account to contribute in the name of a project I am leading at my University, but I was not aware of the name restrictions. I have already filled in a request for a bot page, which will be used for automated contributions. From now on I will use this personal account only for personal contributions, as part of this project or for any other purpose. ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message
