Proposed deletion of Don Nardo

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Don Nardo, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

non-notable puff piece

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. ninety:one 16:12, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re. Dear Leonard

The mistake about my name is fine, really. Don't worry about it. My signature is "Leo Bloom", so the mistake is understandable. At least to me, the connection between you and the subject is negligible, so no need to worry about "breaking or bending" the rules in that regard. As long as you edit without any sway then you're always qualified to edit, and I would be in no place to disqualify you from such enthusiasm.

As to the current state of the article, I think it has a very slim chance of being deleted. It just meets the guidelines for notability in people, as far as I can tell. As I said on the article's talk page, I am currently formatting the references and such. Please read a good portion of WP:TALK, the policy and recommendations for Talk Pages, such as starting a new topic with a title, etc. Thanks, and happy editing.
