User talk:Eddie Zattara

I have placed a tag on the article Eddie Zattara, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. I did this because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person but it does not indicate how or why that person is notable. If you can indicate why Eddie Zattara is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Eddie Zattara. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. Some guy 21:36, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This page has been moved to User:Eddie Zattara. Please do not recreate it in the encyclopedia. Many thanks. -- Francs2000 21:40, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thanks. Bit of a misunderstanding. I was trying to sign off on an edit, and realized that others had their user name at the end of their edits/comments. So, I tried to create my user name as a link (as the others had done). And then I was trying to figure out how to create the user account page that other users would link to: the one that describes biographical info., interests, etc. I take it I either did not create the sign off link, and/or the bio. page correctly. Thanks for correcting the mistake. Any tips on how to create that page and/or the sign off link?

Hi, no problem. If you type four tildes like this ~~~~ at the end of any message you write on a talk page, your name will come up as if by magic. Also if you go to "My preferences" you can fiddle around with the nickname section and get it to do funny things like display flags and change colour... -- Francs2000 21:56, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. Thanks. And how do I create the user page? Eddie Zattara 21:58, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It has already been created for you, here. -- Francs2000 22:02, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks again. Is there an address book feature for marking down contact information of people who are working on articles that I am working on, or might want to contribute to in the future?

Er, no. Not as far as I know anyway. You could list them on your user page if you want (you can do what you want with your user page tbh - see mine). -- Francs2000 23:06, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Eddie - Wiki is a work in progress, but it should also be constantly presentable -> those caps made it entirely unpresentable. I got rid of them and hope there are no hard feelings...rest assured people will still read your contribution in the discussion section. Cheers --DaveyE 06:17, 29 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Davey. I appreciate you keeping the prose looking sharp! Eddie Zattara 23:35, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
