I'm glad you're interested in Poe, Durantulaa. One challenge in working with such a popular author, however, is that you may have to research deeply to find a way to substantially contribute to the page. You may want to start doing preliminary research on the information in the Article Talk pages for each of these articles to see what kind of work users are working on or think needs to be performed. this may help you decide which of these pages will work best for you. - Durantulaa, the edits you're proposing seem promising. However, you haven't yet written a paragraph summary of edits or posted to the Article Talk page for the story, as required by 10/31, so I can't comment on your current progress with the project. I can comment, however, on your List of Contributions. While I think the work on Transcendentalism might work well on the article for the story, Poe's relationship with Transcendentalism in general would be better placed on the author page Edgar Allen Poe, if that information isn't there already. You might also want to expand on the Criticism section of the article for Transcendentalism, which mentions this story. Finally, if you want to comment on the eeriness of the story, just be sure that you are only discussing atmosphere as other critics have discussed it, perhaps in the Analysis section on the story. On your page you did not have bullet points for your contributions but everything else is formated correctly. Your first two contributions are neutral but the last two could be seen as opinions so maybe talk bout the tone of the story instead of how it felt while reading and explain that. The first two edits meet the guidelines because you are using the text and not your opinion. These deal with our class because they mention Poe and Transcendentalism, which is something we talked about in class. Your list was specific because you told exactly what you would add on the page.
