Welcome!

Hello, Dragonchild07, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Answers to ISP Questions

@Dragonchild07, thanks very much for responding to the questions! I'll answer your questions here, but I'd also like for you to copy and paste your response to my talk page. You originally posted them on the course talk page. If you look at the end of my message where my signature is, you'll see a link to my talk page. I'm also posting a message there, and will answer your other question there. I am using the "ping" function so that you should receive a notification that I've left a message on my talk page for you.

Your second question was whether you can change articles, and the answer is yes. Your goal is to identify a cohesive scope of research, meaning that whichever articles you are working on make sense as a group. You'll notice that Adam has also left a message on your talk page. We may need to ask him to help you delete the unwanted articles from the course dashboard, but in the meantime, please go ahead and add links to the articles that you intend to work on your talk page here. Peer Review

It looks like you have added some pretty substantial additions to the Demography of Japan, Edo period, and the Culture of Japan articles. You have done well with making sure that your additions have remained objective, and it looks as though all of your sources have been added correctly. On the student page it says that one of your articles is Japanese literature. I did not notice work being done on this article so I'm assuming you just have not removed it from the course page. You could add this to the See Also section of the Culture of Japan article The section you added to the Edo article is good, but in the beginning you clump economic developments and cultural maturation together. I feel that mentioning the economic developments again is unnecessary because you don't elaborate on this topic in the entertainment section. Other then that your additions seem valuable to your chosen articles. I'd only advise to go look at the remaining errors on the page from other contributors and see if you can fix some of their errors. Thank you for your review on my work and I am fixing them now. @Dragonchild07 and Tburress: Heyates14 (talk) 19:24, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
