The "people" that Groves is discussing
When you write:
- "a lengthy quote bashing people unrelated to Ashton" and
- "long litanies of criticisms of other people than Ashton on Ashton's article"
...you are ignoring the fact that the "people" concerned are those whose testimonies are the sole subject, and main content of Ashton's book. So it is not at all surprising that Grove pays particular attention to them in his conclusion. Likewise this book is Ashton's sole prominent contribution on creationism (he has advanced no creationist concept of his own of any note), so it is hardly surprising that the article devotes some space to the conclusion of the lengthiest, most in-depth and most prominently-authored review of it. I have commented on this at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2012 June 24. Your article has not in fact been deleted but I can quite understand your worry that it had been or would be. As things stand at present it will be kept but someone might nominate it properly for deletion in future. Get in touch if you think I can be of help. I see you have been editing Ninurta and I do wonder whether the information on the weapon could be incorporated there rather than in a separate article. However, this is a matter of editorial choice and different people might legitimately have different views under Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Best wishes. - Thanks for the reply. When looking into things I found these references.[1][2][3][4] I have no background knowledge myself so I did not feel like adding any of this. I happen to have an encylopedia of mythology. It mentions Ninurta's weapon in passing but does not name it. Thincat (talk) 09:39, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
