Responding to your comments on my talk page:
Simply, I think this is a case of hoping that links that have been there longer have been scrutinized by more editors.
Note that I cited WP:NOTLINK as well.
mindmapping.com is the only link that I removed that could remotely be considered worth keeping. I suggest starting a discussion on the article talk page about the pros and cons of it and the current three links, as you've started to do above. I don't think we need more than one or two on how to make mind maps. What the article needs are reliable sources to verify the current information in the article. --Ronz (talk) 18:43, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Conflict of interest?
I'm concerned that all the links that you've added are all run by the same company, and they're all links that have been spammed by multiple editors against a conflict of interest. While this could be a coincidence, I think it's important that you're aware of the WP:COI, WP:SPAM, and WP:EL policies and guidelines. --Ronz (talk) 22:49, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- Are all the links owned by Machware? Even the blog? I didn't know that (but in hindsight it wasn't hard to spot the similarities between the designs on gantt.com and mindmapping.com). My sole reason for getting into mindmapping and gantt charts in the first place was to write a business plan for my newly started music studio, and while apparently made with a strong commercial undercurrent, those sites DID help me realize that I could plan using something better than just a Word document. I've learned a lot about Wiki-guidelines and editing these past couple of weeks, and I shant make the same mistake again. I think I'll just stick to being a regular user for a while. :-) Don Gis (talk) 23:46, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
