Page move vandalism

Moving redirects to nonsense titles or adding plainly improper speedy deletion tags are not the way to move a page. MrOllie (talk) 17:04, 20 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Belgaum

It appears that Belagavi is another name for Belgaum as shown in Draft:Belagavi. Wikipedia does not have two articles about the same topic. You should add to the Belgaum article rather than trying to create a duplicate. If the name is incorrect, and it may well be, then go to Wikipedia:Requested moves and follow the instructions. Please change the title from Belgaum to Belagavi. The Government of Karnataka has changed the city name as Belagavi on 1st November 2014 with approval of Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

No that doesn't workout well. All other platforms which use wikipedia as location source are showing wrong city name. For example Facebook doesn't have city name Belagavi. It has only Belgaum. Djsourabh.bwd (talk) 17:57, 20 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
