Crulic

Hi! I'm trying to get the article shown on the start page as a Did you know entry, so it's important that the article follows WP:MOSFILM. My recent tweaks have all been to make the article comply with the guidelines. Please don't revert back and forth or the DYK nomination might not go through. If there is something factually wrong in the article, please tell me what and I'll change it immediately. But would it be ok with you if instead the lead section was rewritten to feature the animation studio prominently? The infobox is unfortunately not flexible, it is a compromise for providing credits common to all film articles. Further information must be covered in prose in the article, no matter how vital it is for the particular movie. I'll expand the lead section with the animators and hope you will be satisfied with that. Smetanahue (talk) 17:20, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
In that case it's probably better to not have an infobox at all, or one which only has the release info. It's not compulsory to have one. About the companies, I looked at the poster, and it says "Aparte Film and Fundacja im. Ferdynanda Magellana present" on one line, and then list partners below. That is the usual way to select the companies to highlight in the infobox, to choose those that already have been highlighted on the official poster. But if you are serious when you say that you could get into trouble I'll remove all person and company credits from the infobox, so the readers will have to read the prose instead and get the whole picture. Conflict of interest

Welcome to Wikipedia. In regard to the film the film Crulic: The Path to Beyond about which you have been editing, you wrote "I am doing the edits with the agreement of the producer and director of the film (me being part of the animation team as well)". In that case, you should read the guidelines:

The point is that Wikipedia is not a site like Myspace for people to write about themselves and their own concerns; it is a project to build a neutral, factual encyclopedia, and is very resistant to being used for any kind of promotion. So it is not your article, it is Wikipedia's article about your film. You are welcome to point out factual inaccuracies and to make suggestions, but you cannot require the article to be written to suit you, and you are advised not to make yourself any but absolutely uncontroversial edits to it - other changes should be suggested on the article talk page for uninvolved editors to decide on.
