Speedy deletion of PNS/M Khalid (S137)

A tag has been placed on PNS/M Khalid (S137), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Pip (talk) 18:43, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop making edits to the List of states with nuclear weapons article without providing reliable sources for the numbers and other technical claims you're making. You have repeatedly changed the numbers in sections which are cited to specific books or reference sources to numbers which are 'not the numbers those books or reference sources give. If you have reliable sources for other numbers, please provide them, and list them as alternate values without changing the existing listed information and sources.

Continuing to change values given by specific cited sources is in violation of Wikipedia policy - it's inserting misinformation and intentionally introducing bad data into the encyclopedia. If you continue to do that your account will be prevented from editing. If you want to contribute constructively, do so without mangling existing cited information.

Thank you. Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 03:19, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You made this change again without taking it up on the talk page and without providing another specific source.
The specific citation for the number given is: Norris, Robert S. and Hans M. Kristensen. "Pakistan's nuclear forces, 2007," Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists 63:3 (May/June 2007): 71-74
You are not allowed to change the value given by that source. That journal article says what it says.
If you have another source with another value, you can provide that source citation and alternate number. That other source must meet our reliable source guidelines (see link above).
If you make the change again to the value cited from Norris and Kristensen again you will be blocked from editing for 24 hours edit warring and disruption, and longer if you do it again after the first block.
If you add in another number without a reliable source, it's in violation of our policy that all factual information must be verifyably sourced. It will be deleted.
Provide a source. Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 18:24, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to List of countries by size of armed forces. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. JaGatalk 05:08, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for 24 hours

You have been repeatedly warned not to insert false information into Wikipedia. Your last edit was doing exactly that, again, after all the warnings.

Your account is blocked from editing for 24 hours. Please do not continue to modify information from reliable sources. If you continue this after the current block expires the block will be extended, if necessary permanently. This is not acceptable behavior editing Wikipedia. Please stop. Thank you. Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 04:46, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
