Dhoom 3

I never did any edits on this movie's page. Just wanted to let you know that. In fact, I haven't edited or worked on a single Wikipedia project or article in a couple of years, maybe more. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 182.64.149.92 (talk) 10:43, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Mediran. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Kollam because it didn't appear constructive. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Mediran talk|contribs 09:50, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I removed spam which had no references. If you want to keep the spam, are you going to add references? Dental plan (Lisa needs braces) 15:52, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I approve of your deletion of the unreferenced items. The only thing I think you need to do in order to back that up is to comment about it on the talk page. An edit summary would have been useful when you made the deletion. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 10:17, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OK. Sorry. Dental plan (Lisa needs braces) 12:36, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Psst Shhh, don't tell anyone, but you still need to add a comment to the talk page. The last item under referencing is a good place to do this. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 16:15, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Just so that you are aware, I have nominated the now very empty article for deletion. Please contribute to the discussion. I have no intention of arguing against anyone wishing to keep the article, nor to strengthen my argument for deletion. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 09:41, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thankyou for letting me know. I am neutral, don't know whether to keep or delete. Dental plan / lisa needs braces! 14:51, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Frankly nor do I, which is why I proposed it. The article has a new sponsor, though, who seems to be doing good work in the article, so I am sure t will be closed as 'keep'. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 15:41, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hamza Rasheed

Definitely not notable - but may be soon for the number of times he's tried posting this article. I've speedy deleted it, and salted the title to prevent him using it again. I'm trying to remember the original account he edited from, as he is a prolific sockpuppeter WP:SOCK. If you see it again under another title, tag it on sight and put a note on the talk page that this will be a sockpuppet account creating it. Welcome to Wikipedia. Peridon (talk) 20:39, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! Dental plan (Lisa needs braces) 12:35, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The master account is User:Mr Hamza. He's used quite a few, and seems very disinclined to give up. This latest one (Zahida Ashraf) has now been confirmed by checkuser, but I'd already blocked per WP:DUCK. Peridon (talk) 19:38, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

3O request

Please, Dental, just rephrase the sentence in order to use that template. Thanks. --WhiteWriterspeaks 16:43, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is this OK now?

spouse

why did you delete my contribution to the "spouse" page?

Which contribution? Did you use a different account or IP address? Dental plan / lisa needs braces! 12:49, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

John Golden

Dentalplanlisa, I just finished my first article and was hoping someone in Wikipedia:WikiProject Theatre could give it a quick read (since I no little about theater). It seems obvious to me there is a lot more information on him that we could cite, but I'm having trouble getting around pay walls so far. Let me know if you think we could put this up as a stub.

Another editor, The Bushranger said it looked decent, hope you agree and we can go live. Thanks so much for your help, I really appreciate it. Robin the Bobbin (talk) 05:56, 30 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

RfC United States same-sex marriage map

I opened up an RfC for the U.S. same-sex marriage map due to the complicated situation of Kansas: RfC: How should we color Kansas? Prcc27 (talk) 10:29, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please join the discussion on Talk:Glengarry Glen Ross (film)

Hello, I am soliciting comments for an RfC that is currently open on the "Glengarry Glen Ross (film)" page. There is disagreement about where the film was set (New York vs. Chicago).

One of the issues is whether it is original research to cite to elements in the film itself (including props, dialogue, and a statement in the end credits that it was "filmed on location in New York City") to establish setting.

Response so far in the RfC has been mixed. Comments welcome! Xanthis (talk) 14:00, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:50, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. We're into the last five days of the Women in Red World Contest. There's a new bonus prize of $200 worth of books of your choice to win for creating the most new women biographies between 0:00 on the 26th and 23:59 on 30th November. If you've been contributing to the contest, thank you for your support, we've produced over 2000 articles. If you haven't contributed yet, we would appreciate you taking the time to add entries to our articles achievements list by the end of the month. Thank you, and if participating, good luck with the finale!

Please comment on the discussion regarding the term "right-libertarian".

Please comment on the discussion regarding the use of the term "right libertarian" to describe libertarians that do not oppose free markets, and that do not make a clear distinction between laissez-faire capitalism and advocacy of free markets. This discussion can be found on the talk page for the Libertarianism article. The term is primarily used in a derogatory way and by self-described "left-libertarians". The individuals described in that article, and in the poorly-titled right-libertarianism article do not typically identify with the political right - or the political for that matter. You've been unsubscribed from the Feedback Request Service

Hi Dentalplanlisa! You're receiving this notification because you were previously subscribed to the Feedback Request Service, but you haven't made any edits to the English Wikipedia in over three years.

In order to declutter the Feedback Request Service list, and to produce a greater chance of active users being randomly selected to receive invitations to contribute, you've been unsubscribed, along with all other users who have made no edits in three years or more.

You do not need to do anything about this - if you are happy to not receive Feedback Request Service messages, thank you very much for your contributions in the past, and this will be the last you hear from the service. If, however, you would like to resubscribe yourself, you can follow the below instructions to do so:

  1. Go to the Feedback Request Service page.
  2. Decide which categories are of interest to you, under the RfC and/or GA headings.
  3. Paste {{Frs user|{{subst:currentuser}}|limit}} underneath the relevant heading(s), where limit is the maximum number of requests you wish to receive for that category per month.
  4. Publish the page.

If you've just come back after a wikibreak and are seeing this message, welcome back! You can follow the above instructions to re-activate your subscription. Likewise, if this is an alternate account, please consider subscribing your main account in much the same way.

Note that if you had a rename and left your old name on the FRS page, you may be receiving this message. If so, make sure your new account name is on the FRS list instead.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on the Feedback Request Service talk page, or on the Feedback Request Service bot's operator's talk page. Thank you! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:26, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
