Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. Sorry about violating Wikipedia policies. Would it be more appropriate to add information from the linked page directly into the Wikipedia article? The linked page contains detailed trail descriptions (and photos) that are not available/discussed in the Wikipedia article nor on any of the approved external links. I believe the information will be highly beneficial to those using the Wikipedia article -- especially what to expect and experience on the John Muir Trail. -- ddhiker
