Wikipedia isn't a crystal ball

I realise you are doing it with the best of intentions but I have already reverted 2 of your edits to episode numbers , but noticed you have done more , as Wikipedia isn't a crystal ball and something may still prevent an episode airing which is why we wait until it has actually aired .Garda40 (talk) 18:14, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted the changes you have made to the episodes numbers in the last 2 houurs .Wikipedia isn't a crystal ball and those episodes have not aired yet .Garda40 (talk) 21:00, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Garda's reverts were incorrect and should not have been done. There is an obvious misconception of the guidelines. Your edits were fine. Don't worry about it. KellyAna (talk) 22:19, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Reverts on Stargate Atlantis that were not done by me [1] ,[2] and just a few minutes ago [3].Notice the edit summary on two of them .Garda40 (talk) 22:46, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Again, please stop updating episode counts until the episode has actually aired. We cannot predict the future, and until the show actually gets broadcast, we cannot claim it has done so. Please ask if you have any questions about this. Thanks. --Ckatzchatspy 06:10, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles. Your edits have been reverted as you have been cautioned repeatedly about prematurely updating the episode counts. Please stop and discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again, as this is becoming disruptive. Thank you. Ckatzchatspy 00:00, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The episodes are airing now so I think it's appropriate to fix the episode numbers. Just becasue it's a bit early wherever you are doesn't mean there not airing on schedule where I am. Danigro89 (talk) 00:11, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm certainly not expecting that you wait until it airs in the Pacific time zone. However, updating it before it airs anywhere, especially doing so a day in advance, is not appropriate and just makes more work for others who have to fix it. --Ckatzchatspy 01:12, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

May 2008: ER

Is there a particular reason that you insist on updating the episode count for ER each week after it's already been done? You never make any change that I can see. I find it rather disrespectful, as though the person before you (often me) has not done it correctly when in actuality, it was. --Drmargi (talk) 02:22, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Simpsons

Thank you for updating the number of episodes, however, please wait until the episode airs before updating the number count. Thanks, Ctjf83Talk 19:14, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Episode Count for The Big Bang Theory

Please do not update the episode count a week before it is scheduled to air as you did here as it contradicts the policy laid out by WP:CRYSTAL Thanks. Aly89 (talk) 06:17, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

January 2009

Please stop adding recaps of sitcom episodes that haven't been broadcast yet. Since you haven't seen them you obviously are copying the information from another source which is a violation of Wikipedia rules. Thank you. 209.247.22.164 (talk) 17:09, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Episode count

Please stop updating episode count prior to airing of the episodes. Your edit is both premature and incorrect. Also, taking a look at your talk page indicates that you have been repeatedly asked before to stop your improper and disruptive behavior. Should you continue to pursue this editing pattern, I'd have to ask for some sort of administrative intervention. LeaveSleaves 02:07, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Continuing to act in this manner, particularly after numerous warnings and explanations, can be considered disruptive behaviour. --Ckatzchatspy 05:37, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
How many times do you have to be asked not to update episode counts and add summaries of shows that haven't even aired yet??? If the show hasn't aired, it's obvious you're copying the recap description from another source. 209.247.22.166 (talk) 14:59, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you keep updating episode counts outside of consensus, after being asked not to, so many times, I'll block you. Gwen Gale (talk) 00:48, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Despite all these warnings, and others on this page, you persist in updating episode counts before episodes air. I've reverted your change to The Closer and not for the first time. Please wait until the episode airs in the US before updating the count: that's 9:00 pm Eastern or 6:00 pm Pacific time. Drmargi (talk) 05:50, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
