Note

A request for formal mediation of the dispute concerning Rorschach test has been filed with the Mediation Committee (MedCom). You have been named as a party in this request. Please review the request at Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/Rorschach test and then indicate in the "Party agreement" section whether you would agree to participate in the mediation or not.

Mediation is a process where a group of editors in disagreement over matters of article content are guided through discussing the issues of the dispute (and towards developing a resolution) by an uninvolved editor experienced with handling disputes (the mediator). The process is voluntary and is designed for parties who disagree in good faith and who share a common desire to resolve their differences. Further information on the MedCom is at Wikipedia:Mediation Committee; the policy the Committee will work by whilst handling your dispute is at Wikipedia:Mediation Committee/Policy; further information on Wikipedia's policy on resolving disagreements is at Wikipedia:Resolving disputes.

If you would be willing to participate in the mediation of this dispute but wish for its scope to be adjusted then you may propose on the case talk page amendments or additions to the list of issues to be mediated. Any queries or concerns that you have may be directed to an active mediator of the Committee or by e-mailing the MedCom's private mailing list (click here for details).

Please indicate on the case page your agreement to participate in the mediation within seven days of the request's submission.

Thank you, –xenotalk

Note: I am uncertain why I was included in this request for mediation. I don't think I should be a party to it. It was opened and closed in too short of a period for me to become aware or involved in it. No one has accused me of any wrong doing, and to my knowledge, I have not offended anyone. I do my best to stay on topic and avoid ad hominem arguments. I do very well with this. Danglingdiagnosis (talk) 00:33, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WP:AN notification.

There is a proposal concerning you at WP:AN#Topic ban proposal. You should have been notified by the original poster. → ROUX  06:43, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Topic banned

I have reviewed the discussion on WP:AN regarding the topic ban proposal against you. This message is to inform you that by community consensus, you are indefinitely prohibited from adding, removing, or altering in any way the display of images depicting the Rorschach Test and from initiating or participating in any community input process to achieve this end. In the future, please be mindful of your actions and do not disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point. Sincerely, King of ♠ 18:53, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Point of order, I think this is too hasty. Danglingdiagnosis has not yet had a chance to respond. → ROUX  18:54, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Respectfully disagree with Roux (talk · contribs) here, the discussion ran its course, and had a clear and very strong consensus. The determination by King of Hearts (talk · contribs) was well within bounds and certainly appropriate. -- Cirt (talk) 18:59, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes the consensus is clear--and given that I agree with the consensus, one hopes that should indicate how strongly I feel about this. We don't try people in absentia here; users are always given a chance to defend themselves. DD hasn't logged in since before the topic ban proposal was posted. Even just in terms of playing fair, the closure should have waited until he had a chance to respond. As I just said at KoH's tpage, you can bet your bippy there will be an appeal of this, and it will just generate more silliness. That isn't the main reason I think this was closed too fast, however. → ROUX  19:05, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
