Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding or significantly changing content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Elephant, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Jim1138 (talk) 01:39, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request for Comment on Afd: Robert Fry (Serial killer)

Because of recent contributions, you may have specialized knowledge or interest to comment on whether WP:NOT applies to a convicted serial killer. SteveAarons(talk) 5 January 2013 (UTC)

22:00 Mongol Standard Time?

Somebody wrote that a battle that took place 1000 years ago began at "22:00" without further specifying whether this is Greenwich mean time, Pacific standard Time, Mongol standard Time, etc. In point of fact, there is no citation and there can be no citation because nobody can know at what hour something happened before people had universally recognized time zones, clocks, or even calendars. It is ridiculous and petty to revert my deletion of some contributors/owner's belief that something took place at a specific time of the day hundreds of years ago. It just makes Wikipedia look stupid.Da5id403 (talk) 21:54, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Executive order

Hi, I was just wondering why you undid my revision on the page Executive order in order to add the text: "Pursuant to" at the very top of the page? It doesn't look like it should be there, hovering above the "For other uses" text. -- Kndimov (talk) 02:43, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 23:02, 23 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Information icon Hello, I'm Prinsipe Ybarro. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to General Motors streetcar conspiracy— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
