I've done some more thinking about my accidental deletion and here's my best guess: I was using Huggle, and if you look at the time stamps for our edits they were at the same time. My guess is that you saved yours a split second before mine, so when Huggle added a warning for the vandalism I had just reverted, your warning got wiped. It was only my second time using Huggle, but I'm pretty sure the timing thing was just a weird freak occurrence where your edited had just saved and Huggle's internal mechanisms were setting up the warning and they got conflicted. Hi Daniel, absolutely no reason to apologize what-so-ever. When I saw your reply this morning, I double-checked as well, and as you said - it wasn't you or me. Looks like "Huggle the Heavyweight" out-wrestled "Twinkle-toes" on a vandal revert. An edit conflict (exact same minute on two different articles) which appeared to get caught up in the server cache I guess. The only reason I even asked, is that when I warn a new user (rather than an IP), I'll watchlist for a short time - just to make sure that they: 1.) Get the message, and 2.) don't end up running loose for too long unchecked. I didn't know if maybe you knew some history or information that I wasn't aware of, so out of my curiosity (I know - it killed the cat ... LOL), I dropped the AGF question. If I hadn't been so rushed for time this morning too (was out of town all day), I would have replied sooner. The important parts: Vandal warned, and I got to meet another editor - Hi, I'm Ched. Unconstructive?

"Unconstructive" is a term denoting a purely POV-mindset and really does not promote the genuine Wikipedia Experience. It should be left up to readers to make their own decisions on whether what they're reading is "constructive" or not. 76.28.195.113 (talk) 06:47, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Inserting phrases about genitals into an article does not benefit an encyclopedia. In what way is adding the phrase "or perhaps a giant erect throbbing phallus" constructive? HTML to Unicode

I'm interested in your use of the bot AWB. In particular, I'm interested to know why your use of it here, directly contravenes the rules for use of the bot, found here. In particular, the rule that says, "Avoid making insignificant or inconsequential edits such as ... converting some HTML to Unicode..." You converted all the HTML to unicode, for no obvious reason and for no benefit whatsoever. I am genuinely confused about this and look forward to your response. Hello, sorry it took me so long to reply, as I was on vacation (I'm sure you noticed the Wikibreak box on my user page). In response to your question, the edit in question did make one change (nee → née) that was not related to Unicode. In fact, none of the edits were related to Unicode. The changes made were converting deprecated HTML tags (that's to say, the "b" tag has been replaced by the "strong" tag and the "i" tag has been replaced by "em", in standard HTML, etc.) into Wiki markup, the standard Wiki language. In addition, that rule clearly uses the wording "avoid" as opposed to "it is forbidden." That's why I made the change. Once again, sorry for the delay.
