Links

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. [1] --Ronz (talk) 18:21, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 15:16, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest policy

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for businesses. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 15:22, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

August 2015

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion, so any further spamming will be regarded as vandalism. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Ronz (talk) 14:35, 15 August 2015 (UTC

From clarknight; Is this message and the email I received this morning from Wiki management or someone who sells Dr. Bates books for a high price and is trying to hide Dr. Bates entire collection which is free on GoogleBooks?
Please stop your editing, collect yourself, and discuss your concerns on the article talk page. I don't recall the extent of your conflict of interest, but the conflict of interest policies have substantially since you opened your account. --Ronz (talk) 15:18, 15 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
From clarknight; I have contacted Wiki management. The FREE books by Dr. Bates have been online here on Wiki for a few years. I have talked with Wiki Management in the past and they stopped people (possibly same person as today) from removing the links to Dr. Bates FREE books. I will preserve Dr. Bates work; free to the public. I notice other links to GoogleBooks are on there; you did not remove them. Only the ones 'I' post that give Dr. Bates 'ENTIRE collection free'. Very suspicious.
You're assumptions about others seem to be without merit.
Will you please address your WP:COI? --Ronz (talk) 15:32, 15 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Bates Method. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Alexbrn (talk) 15:49, 15 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

From clarknight; You 2 men are the people who started this; you removed my posts. When I place them back on; the 2 of you gang up together and remove my posts again. This is you 2 abusing me. Please allow the public's right to have Dr. Bates Books, work available for free.

Wiki should take notice that these 2 men have also taken over this page; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Bates_(physician) They removed my posts to the free GoogleBooks on that page also. I have been very tolerate of them and gave up on posting on that page. But I will fight for the right to keep my posts, Dr. Bates FREE books on this page; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bates_method#Further_reading As I stated before; it has been on Wiki for a few years and Wiki management allowed it, protected the post.

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule, as you did at Bates method. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  slakrtalk / 16:51, 15 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Appeal to unblock. My posts were on the page first. The 2 men that attacked me kept removing my posts which have been in Wiki for a few years. They have engaged in bullying. Mary I. Oliver 17:38, 15 August 2015 (UTC)

Decline reason:

You were warned about edit warring. You continued to edit war; you need to read WP:EDITWAR to understand what you've been doing wrong. --jpgordon::==( o ) 18:38, 15 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Thank you Jp Gordon;

I have been reading the rules. A manager emailed me. He and the rules state; that even if I am right, posting something good, legal 'in the rules' and the bad guys keep deleting my post; I cannot put the original post back on more than 3 times in 24 hours. I suspect the men that are removing my posts are the 2 high priced authors/teachers I mentioned earlier who try to hide Dr. Bates Free public Domain books from the public. Its a losing battle to stay on Wiki. I might repost once every 24 hours after the ban, but probably wont stay with it. This is troll-abuse activity occurring. It has become stressful. I was going to make my own wiki page, then lock it to preserve the truth but the manager says it cannot be locked. Its like letting strangers, good and bad people into your home, enabled to help create or destroy. There are other places to give the addresses for the books to the public. I now realize Wiki is not a safe place to rely on for knowledge; if anyone can delete the truth, things that are beneficial to the public and post untruths; that's not a good thing. I also know the eye surgeons, doctors watch that page and block the truth. A honest vision teacher had the same problem in the past; trying to get the truth posted on Wiki. Could not do it. The trolls... erased it.

Good-bye Wiki.

Will preserve in paper and on my own website. Life is short.

Clark Night Mary I. Oliver

You unfortunately have several misconceptions. First of all, the rule about edit warring is much broader than you think; if you repost the same thing more than three times in a day, you're pretty much automatically in violation of our three revert rule. But WP:EDITWAR says that even your alternate plan -- reposting once every 24 hours -- is also unacceptable. Nobody on Wikipedia has their "own wiki page" that they can keep locked against other editor's changes; there are no private homes, no private shopfronts -- in fact, there is no privacy at all for anything placed on Wikipedia. Now, if you want your material included, you'll need to gain WP:CONSENSUS for it on the article talk pages; that's how it works here for everyone and for everything. --jpgordon::==( o ) 20:18, 15 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

UPDATE; Nov-Dec 2015; I spent a lot of time creating Ophthalmologist Bates 11 years, 132 issues of his Better Eyesight Magazine. Absolutely nothing else is in the PDF I uploaded to GoogleBooks and linked here on Wiki. I see that the eye doctors, surgeons' book is linked to Amazon; AGAINST Wiki Rules. Why is Dr. Bates FREE Magazines blocked on Wiki? I suspect this is being done by people that sell high priced vision improvement, often phony, ineffective practices and people from Milan Italy (John Giovanni Gatti (Rishi) and Keiv, Ukraine (Oleg Krupnov) that sell Dr. Bates magazines for $500.00. They use proxy, VPN to hide their location. Also suspect other people that sell the magazines. What has happened to free speech and knowledge. This is much like the Govt. censoring Library books. The entire time I spent making this new PDF for Google, so it is accepted by Wiki; I had a gut feeling that corruption on Wiki will block it. Wiki managers; please STOP the corrupt people; they only want hiding Dr. Bates work. Think about it; I placed the free PDF of the magazines on the Wiki USA and other countries. FIRST deletion of the link to Google was; from Italy. PLEASE; stop using editing war as excuse to hide Dr. Bates work.

Jan 13, 2016; I placed Dr. William. H. Bates free public Domain Better Eyesight magazines online at archive.org and a wiki page and linked to them on Dr. Bates Wiki page. RONZ immediately deleted the links and he also deleted all other people's links to the online library. This IS edit warring by RONZ. He has a secret reason for hiding Dr. Bates work. He is not only attacking me; now he is blocking all other people's posts to Dr. Bates free books and magazines on Wiki. He has a few friends on here that will troll to support him in deleting all links to Dr. Bates work. Wiki management; please do the honest, right thing this time; Bring back my recent edit done today Jan 13, 2016. I will leave it up to you to investigate and do this. I do not want to repost the edit and be accused of warring.

Thank you, Clark Night
