Question

Have you had a previous Wikipedia account? Flyer22 Frozen (talk) 00:39, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don't believe so, no. Perhaps I had one as a teen that I don't remember. To the best of my knowledge, this is my first Wikipedia account.Childsexualityinfo (talk) 21:00, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:

I was blocked because I was marked as a sock puppet. Flyer22 Frozen already asked me on my Talk page if I had a previous account, and I said I didn't. Apparently I have a similar writing style or something as some other guy who was using Wikipedia inappropriately (I reviewed their edits, and no, they're definitely not me). As you can see from MY contributions, I have provided nothing but scientific data and logical discussion. I had one of my edits reverted, but that was no big deal. I just went to the Talk page to discuss it instead, and the discussion has been very productive so far. I would appreciate being unblocked so I can continue to contribute to Wikipedia. Thank you. Childsexualityinfo (talk) 02:47, 14 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

The block is not just based on similar writing style. This is a checkuser block, meaning there is technical evidence of a connection. If you have not used other accounts, you will need to provide a plausible explanation as to why technical evidence would indicate otherwise. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 07:01, 14 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

According to the Wikipedia page on CheckUser, they block users based on their IP address. Literally thousands of people can share the same IP address in some circumstances, especially in the instance of VPNs (although, I assume you have most VPNs blocked anyway). And besides, my IP address isn't even the same as it was a few months ago because my ISP changes it periodically. I am sorry that someone else had the same IP address as me at some point and used it to abuse Wikipedia, but that wasn't me. I understand that you are taking every precaution to keep Wikipedia safe from trolls and such, but, as you can see from MY account's edit history (not whatever else account you wrongly think I am), I have not engaged in any sort of abusive behavior. Decline reason:

Checkuser verified abuser of multiple accounts. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 21:56, 14 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
