Charles Baer depopulationism is an idea created by china in the 1980's . depopulationism is also known as the " one woman one child policy " . depopulationism means that it is illegal for someone to get pregnant a second time . depopulationists believe that the best , and perhaps only way , to save the environment , and mankind , is to create a signifigant , sustained , and immediate decline in the human population on earth . this will allow the number of people on earth to eventually reach a sustainable level . this is a number for future generations to determine , but some feel the number is around two or three billion . this will allow the environment to heal itself and allow for more trees to grow back . this means that in the future when humans want to breath oxygen , there will be enough trees to create enough oxygen for humans to breath , and thus all living things will not suffocate to death . depopulationism is regarded as logical environmentalism , or common sense environmentalism , or the best and latest evolution in current and or post modern environmentalism . some depopulationists recommend an online world government to help push the depopulation agenda forward . depopulationists strongly support the united nations attempt to bring female reproductive rights to all females on earth as soon as possible . depopulationists feel that the concept of female reproductive rights means that all females on earth have the right to total and free access to all forms of birth control including birth control education and abortion
