Bangor Mountain

Although, it is not that important that we mention it in the article, the Lidl's planning permission (which I did see when it was granted) was retrospective following talks with the council (probably along the lines of "we have more lawyers than you...give us retrospective permission or else").

I'm pretty sure the blasting of the mountain was unlawful at the time. In fact, most Lidl supermarkets built in the UK are built without planning permission. There are also allegations about the lack of structural soundness of the blasted face and that Lidl didn't do a proper health and safety assessment, but I don't know how reliable they are. Because of the blasting part of the public footpath has been lost too.

I will try to find some references for this paragraph (e.g.: local papers articles on Web). Although, I think the whole article suffers from a lack of notability and referencing; maybe it should be merged into Bangor.
