Welcome!

Hello, CXLeader, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Infobip, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! tedder (talk) 16:46, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Tedder!
Thank you very much for your input on the edits I made to Infobip's page. My goal was to update some out-of-date content and correct some errors I found on the page. I am hoping that you can help me get this done the right way!
This morning, I made two edits that I am hopeful you can review.
The first is that I updated the founders lists in the "Infobox" on the right. Infobip was founded by three people: Silvio Kutic (now Chief Executive Officer), Izabel Jelenic
(now Chief Technical Officer), and Roberto Kutic (now Chief Operations Officer).
The second is that I updated the "Tech Campuses" section. Infobip opened its first technical campus in Croatia in 2017. The second campus opened in 2022. I added citations for both as you suggested above.
If you could let me know if this is acceptable, I would appreciate the guidance very much!
Thank you,
Susanne (CXLeader)

Since you are addressing a specific user, there is no need for a help me tag, so I have closed it. 331dot (talk) 13:55, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you are associated with this topic, please read conflict of interest. If you have any paid relationship with the topic(including employment), the Terms of Use require you to make a formal paid editing disclosure. 331dot (talk) 13:57, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much! I have made the change you requested on my page. CXLeader (talk) 15:58, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And hi, I see the above, and see you made the updates to infobip. Generally go to Talk:Infobip to have discussions related to the article. Thanks for placing your COI statement. The changes you made are fine, just be careful if they turn the article into a marketing page- Infobip does not own or control its Wikipedia article. tedder (talk) 16:22, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Just wanted to thank you again for your help! CXLeader (talk) 18:00, 9 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hey CXLeader, I reverted your two most recent changes. They are far over the line into having a point of view or being advertising for the company. Again, it can't be a marketing page. As an example: "The company's digital experiences are reliable, safe, and locally and globally compliant". tedder (talk) 22:16, 9 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi - Would you be willing to help me get this right?
For the Introduction, is this content acceptable?
Infobip provides full-stack communications platform-as-a-service with a global reach across six continents. Services include omnichannel communications, contact center, chatbot, customer engagement and customer data platforms as well as our identity and security solutions. Infobip reaches over seven billion mobile devices and ‘things’ in more than 190 countries connected directly to over 700 telecoms networks.
Each year Infobip's platform sends more than 350 billion transactions.
Founded in Croatia, Infobip serves both mobile network operators and enterprises, including banks, social networks and corporations, as well as non-profit organizations and public institutions.
(The content that you reverted to is no longer correct. The products aren't current and the company was founded in Croatia but is not longer headquartered there.)
Thank you! I do appreciate your assistance!

(un-indenting for clarity with the example) Hey, put that on the talk page (Talk:Infobip), using "{{ tl1 |request edit}}" like below:

{{request edit}}
* Specific text to be added or removed: ADD TEXT HERE
* Reason for the change: ADD TEXT HERE
* References supporting change: ADD URL AT LEAST
~~~~
That helps because other people will see it, and some people are a lot better about looking at COI edits. tedder (talk) 22:08, 10 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Information icon Hello, I'm Tedder. I noticed that you recently removed content from Infobip without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. This is especially problematic with your conflict of interest. tedder (talk) 22:19, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You need to stop editing Infobip. You have a conflict of interest. Infobip's PR department does not and cannot control Wikipedia's entry. As the COI page says, "COI editors are strongly discouraged from editing affected articles directly, and can propose changes on article talk pages instead." A summary of the guidance is at WP:COIEDIT. In short, use Talk:Infobip and the Edit COI template. tedder (talk) 05:00, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ted - Thank you for the prompt reply. As you state, I do work as part of Infobip's PR team and having our Wikipedia page reflective of our company is critical to us. I appreciate the guidance on how to get copy updated using Talk:Infobip and Edit CoI. Again, my thanks. CXLeader (talk) 13:20, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
