Bird taxonomy

The paper you mention is being discussed at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Birds#Yet another taxonomy. At present we seem to be mentioning it in the articles for various families in the context of other studies. This paper is a huge leap forward and extremely interesting, but don't imagine it to be the last word in avian taxonomy! Incidentally, if you enjoy birdwatching I invite you to join our wikiproject, we have many taxonomic discussions, not to mention bird ID challenges! Poe

Sorry, Poe's Law is still a neologism (even though I agree with it). DS (talk) 22:21, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

under construction

You may want to add an {{under construction}} template to AS6 as you work.Naraht (talk) 17:52, 26 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. v6 2001:470:b09d:0:51ad:9480:9697:ed4c. 2001:470::b09d::/48 is TunnelBroker/Hurricane Electric sub allocation to me and me alone. The /48s are give to individual tunnel users in order to have IPv6 on their local network when their ISP does not given them an IPv6 connection. Blocking such a wide swath like 2001:470:8000::/33 is unfair to individual TunnelBroker users. Bytor (talk) 00:57, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Unfortunately such things are also used inappropriately by spammers and vandals to evade detection and blocking. You won't be able to use it while editing Wikipedia. You could try requesting an IP block exemption by following the instructions at WP:IPECPROXY. 331dot (talk) 10:24, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
