GitPrime & others

Hi, I'm curious if you are affiliated in any way with the subjects of the articles you are working on. If you could let me know, that would be great. --K.e.coffman (talk) 00:45, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I am not affiliated with any companies I have written article about. I normally take the companies from Crunchbase and see if they have good references and if yes I write about them. I am planning to create around 10 articles this month (hopefully one day one of my articles comes to the first page of Wikipedia) .I see that you are a very experienced editor here. It would be great if you can suggest me some article topics to work on. Budha Everyday (talk) 00:54, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
So you have not received nor you expect to receive any compensation for your editing? In any case, the articles you've created so far do not appear to be on notable subjects. Taking companies from Crunchbase may not be the right move, as many tech startups are not notable.
Please review WP:NCORP to learn about sourcing requirements. If you'd like to contribute in a different way, you could try looking up Category:Articles with topics of unclear notability or Category:Articles with a promotional tone and see if you can improve them. --K.e.coffman (talk) 01:03, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for providing these resources. Much appreciated. Articles with promotional tone definitely seems like a section that I can work upon.Budha Everyday (talk) 01:20, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Re this edit, you should probably avoid marking changes as "minor". The latter should be reserved for typo fixing & similar, not for substantive changes. Also, you changed the tense for an unknown reason; the company is defunct. Please be more careful. K.e.coffman (talk) 01:36, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
