Discussion of validity of this page on Wikipedia

Rationale; discussion of similiar pages on Wikipedia (I'm not using 'other stuff exists' as the means to add this page, more giving links for comparison to this page).

First off, I will accept that this is a disgusting topic. However, I believe it has achieved notability, and therefore should have a page on wikipedia. I will explain my reasoning below.

This page is a shock site. Shock sites are know to be inherently difficult to reference. They are very rarely discussed in reliable sources (in fact, rarely discussed in any sources at all!), and this has meant that only a few have achieved the notability to have their own page on Wikipedia. Three examples are Goatse, Two Girls One Cup and Stile Project. Goatse in particular has been around for many years, leading to an increased number of references. Two Girls One Cup is newer, so has less reliable sources.

This page currently has a mixture of reliable sources, and moderately reliable sources. By 'moderately', I will not be including personal blogs as sources, but will be including one or two news sites which are 'blog based' (as they describe themselves), but which do have a small number of editors working for them, covering specific areas / topics, so are *not* just 'personal blogs'.

I have not included 'self published' sources on this page. The only exception is Soulja Boy's reaction video. This has been included due to fact that reaction videos (are established as one result of shock sites, and mentioned in the shock sites which do have their pages above) are by definition 'self published'. Issues sourcing this particular page

One particular issue that comes up when sourcing this article is finding reliable sources for a shock site. This is particularly difficult if one is to solely rely on sources such as BBC News / CNN. This difficulty is highlighted with this article. This is the only shock site referenced in the mainstream media (the other sites which have their own pages, listed above, do not have such 'reliable' sources). With regard to the Youtube hack, the early reports describe in detail what was done to Justin Bieber's Youtube videos (e.g. blanking of pages, writing 'OMG Faggot', making popup boxes appear stating he was killed, and replacing the video with 'One Man, One Jar'. When this incident was reported in the mainstream media, these details were generally compressed to 'redirected to porn sites'. This makes sense; the journalists for the BBC / CNN sites are unlikely to write 'One Man One Jar' (or to describe the video in any kind of detail), instead stating it is 'porn sites. This shows the difficulty in relying on only the most mainstream sources when discussing hard-to-source topics (and shows why the guidelines for the shock sites page (and shock sites with their own pages on Wikipedia), do allow for some flexibility regarding sourcing, providing that at least some reliable sources are present, and that the other sources used are not 'trivial'.
