Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one of your recent edits to Borderline personality disorder has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Information icon Hello, I'm Technopat. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Borderline personality disorder, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Borderline personality disorder. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Please participate in the discussion on the article talk page instead of continuing to revert other users. Dawn Bard (talk) 19:52, 20 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please join us on the BPD talk page

Hi there,

I've noticed that you've been trying repeatedly to add information about mindfulness to the borderline personality disorder article. You seem to be a new member of Wikipedia, so I wanted to make sure that you are aware of the guidelines about edit warring. You can click here for more information about the policy, but the short version is that if you undo other editors' removal of your material 3 or more times, you risk being blocked from editing. The preferred and more productive way of asserting your opinion about what material should be included is to discuss disagreements on article talk pages. We have just begun a discussion about the material you are trying to include, and you can join us by clicking here, which will take you to the borderline personality disorder talk page. We would appreciate your contributions to the discussion; please do not continue to revert the removal of your material without explaining why you feel it should be included. Thank you for your note. I see that other editors have already provided you with useful links that will help you get the hang of how things are done here, and there is not much else I can add.

As for your specific question as to whether we can "allow the mindfulness section be there without references for two days" while you look for references, I'm afraid it is not possible, as it may violate the Wikipedia policy on Wikipedia:No original research. Finally, I must insist you follow the recommendations that others have already pointed out above and try to reach consensus on the article talk page rather than simply reverting other editors' editions. Edits and articles of interest

Hi there,
I've clarified (hopefully) and updated the info in the psychotherapy section of the borderline personality disorder article. In particular, I've clarified that dialectical behavior therapy, also known as DBT, is based both on traditional cognitive-behavioral principles and on mindfulness principles. As the BPD page notes, this therapy is an effective treatment for BPD, and you can find more information about it here: dialectical behavior therapy. You might also be interested in this article: Mindfulness (psychology). Hope that helps, and again, please do join us on the BPD talk page.
Warm regards,
