I changed only a couple things when editing your page. First, I combined the same citations together so you would not have repeat listings in the reference section. Secondly, I fixed the spacing between your citation numbers and sentences. Remember that there is no space after the punctuation when adding in your citations. I noticed that your third sentence talking about multicellular and unicellular organisms was worded a little strangely, and I couldn't seem to get the full article to open but from the abstract it only mentions SR proteins in metazoans. You have the same citation(Blencowe, 1999) twice in a row so I'm not sure if you have to put it in twice or if you'd want to put it at the end of the second article. I think it may be interesting to look into multicellular vs. unicellular species. Since plants and animals both seem to have it, why wouldn't algae have it for instance? Do multicellular fungi have it? You may want to discuss how the splicing of SR mRNAs is altered in response to various stresses and stimuli, which in turn affect splicing of other mRNAs. It is interesting that SR proteins also interact with chromatin via histone H3, but the source you cited also talks about downstream regulation of mRNA after splicing, such as mRNA export.Maximus155 (talk) 02:59, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
