Alert

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove useful links from an article, such as you did in the article TheDonald.win, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Domeditrix (talk) 00:28, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. @JzG: You're the one who is reverting the edits, I'm adding them back, you're the one breaking the three-revert rule that you're mentioning. --Bolt9094 (talk) 17:05, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making abusive or otherwise inappropriate edit summaries, as you did to TheDonald.win. Your edit summary may have been removed. Please look at pages regarding Civility and Personal attacks in your spare time. Thank you. Domeditrix (talk) 17:34, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop edit warring

No matter how correct your edits or good the sources, if there is objection (and there is), you must achieve a consensus on the talk page. That's how it works here.

Follow BRD. That D means Discuss, so only do that. Do not restore what was deleted or you will be blocked. You have been warned repeatedly and reverted by multiple experienced editors, so you no excuse and really have no other option, unless you want to lose all access to editing here. Keep in mind that your block log cannot be erased, so any block will be a permanent blotch on your reputation and will haunt you here, so keep that block log clean. -- Valjean (talk) 21:21, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I see you won't follow our rules, so tomorrow, when I have time, you will be blocked. -- Valjean (talk) 05:50, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like the article is now protected, so let's see what happens. If you return to such behavior anywhere here, you'll get blocked. -- Valjean (talk) 15:06, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm HaeB. I noticed that you recently removed content from R/The Donald without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Also, do not use misleading edit summaries. HaeB (talk) 01:12, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
