@ User:Bernard Botturi, no issues but Muslim powers had touched in 7th century itself in southern France Septimania#Muslim_Septimania under Al-Andalus and Al-Andalus too were dealing in captivating and trading women slaves. Hence I thought there would be some more French resources on this topic too.
