Hi. When you remove large amounts of content, could you please provide an explanation in the edit summary and/or at the talk page? Thanks, –Juliancolton | Talk 16:32, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • What you actually did was remove a lot of sourced material. I had to go back and restore all the links you deleted. They were placed there for a reason and were properly referenced, not "external links". Please check with experienced editors before trying to make large scale changes to articles, especially when removing sources. Niteshift36 (talk) 13:29, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'd prefer not to have them all too, but an editor challenged every weapon mentioned, even the MP5. Nor was he happy with one mention on some of them. To avert an edit war or having otherwise true material deleted, it had to be sourced. You can't remove source material just because you don't like how it looks. It can be removed because of controversy (which there is none) or if it fails guidelines. It is considered rude to come in and undo a large portion of other editors work without at least discussing it first, especially when it is sourced material. I was going to come an call your attention to what has been said at Talk:SWAT, but apparently Niteshift already did so. In case you didn't see my message at Talk:SWAT, you may want to check out WP:Verifiability and WP:Citing sources. They have lots of helpful information about references and why we need them. Hi. Please check out the article talk page. Your recent edit seemed a little too ungainly to amend, so I reverted it pending discussion and clarification. Cheers, Bjenks (talk) 04:01, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
