@MJL: its actually unnerving to find me such the focus of such accusations. so i spend time in a region of world that is grossly misrepresented and do something to bring to awareness to more comprehensive information, you attack and put me on some McCarthy list. I think it's strange that you would be so obsessed with this. To address your original point, I would call myself far from obsessed with Kazakhstan. I pretty much did the bare minimum of work regarding something I perceived to be an issue.
Furthermore, I find myself awfully befuddled by your specific retort regarding Human Rights Watch. I'm a 21-year-old kid living in Connecticut and who recently started working at a grocery store, when and how would I end up on HRW's payroll? Either way, if you are curious about their funding, they have a section on their website regarding their financials available to the public.
