I think that you're mistaken. The article is about the modern identity. British citizens are covered by another article. Even then, one should be weary about reducing the number to 60 million as there are millions more British citizens in the world than the 60 million people who reside in the United Kingdom. As an ethnic identity, more than 100 million people are of British heritage, and not all British citizens are indigenous Britons, with about 10% having no native/first nation connection to the land at all. City coat of arms removal

You are mistaken

All I did was edit the appearance of the template to fit that of Parliamentary Acts. I did not alter the constitution of the template, by adding or subtracting any link. The topics are not universal in scope, but dated to a certain time and procession of events in the government. It is proper to display the Acts of Parliament in the way Parliament would, to accurately represent what they had done. This leaves no room for spin, but it does give depth to the issue. French Fourth Republic

Well, I don't really agree with that line of thought; the Fourth Republic was also in the 'actual country' of France. The country didn't spring into existence when the Fourth Republic ended; the Fifth Republic did (well, it didn't 'spring', but you catch my drift). Someone interested in the history of the governments/constitutions of France is much better served with a link to the current government/constitution as a successor state than to the country which already existed anyway.

The article France isn't limited to the Fifth Republic; it is about the country and in its history section lists lots of governments. If we can't reach agreement (no problem there in itself) I guess I'll post this on the talk page to French Fourth Republic.

I repeat, in the world of soccer, the song "You'll Never Walk Alone" is most immediately associated with Liverpool Football Club. The evidence clearly shows that Celtic supporters adopted it at a much later date, in the 1980s, more than 20 years after it was firmly established with Liverpool. Given these facts, I do not consider Celtic's late embrace relevant. Both Fulham and Ipswich sung YNWA long before Celtic, and several other clubs flirted with it (especially on big match occasions). Please provide a persuasive reason why other clubs should be given equal prominence on a page that is principally about music. You cannot seriously contend that it is better associated with Liverpool and Celtic by virtue of the fact both sets of supporters now sing it -- that is circular argumentation. You are mistaken. A Google search for Liverpool produces 429,000 results [2] while Celtic returns only 42,000 hits [3] (a figure more than nine times higher). In any case, you appear to be missing the point. There is absolutely no reason to highlight other soccer clubs the song has become associated with. The basic, factual details are already in place. Celtic is correctly placed on a list of clubs who adopted the song at a later point in time. However, by removing Celtic from the list and onto the main section, you also alter the meaning of the page to imply that Celtic adopted the song at the same time as Liverpool, when this is flatly false. In addition, if we plunge this slippery slope, then why elevate only two such clubs - why not three, four or possibly five? Is it because you want to lend greater significance and weight to Celtic than is historically accurate? "Teachtaí Dála of the Dáil Éireann"

The grammar is terrible. You cannot say "the Dáil Éireann" or "an Dáil Éireann" because "Éire" is a definite noun. More correct would be "Teachtaí Dála of Dáil Éireann". But then we have the problem of the plural of TDs in English. Also the section itself should go below the election boxes, since those are what people look for first. Please address my arguments at Talk:Union of Soviet Socialist Republics#Name instead of moving the article with no points listed on the talk page. In particular, please prove, citing sources, that "Soviet Union" is more common, than "USSR". And explain, why well-knownencyclopedias use "Union of Soviet Socialist Republics", but Wikipedia should use "Soviet Union".Cmapm 23:27, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Wappen Schottland.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:Wappen Schottland.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Please stop edit warring

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing.
