Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in monkey brain. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. 22:43, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

It appears the contents you added were only to promote a commercial product named "monkey brain". Such edits are usually regarded as spamming, especially since it was your first edit. If you are certain the contents have no problem with the Wikipedia policies, I suggest you create a new page Monkey brain (oatmeal) or something like that. --BorgQueen 22:56, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The contents were added because it is a new product that I received an email about, and when I googled monkey brains, the monkey brain article came up, but there was no mention of this type of monkey brains..and thought it was relevant to the article. I'm happy to build consensus in that regard.Barrolltc 23:05, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
