A tag has been placed on Ksenia Kuzmina requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Proposed deletion of Ksenia kuzmina

The article Ksenia kuzmina has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

this is a hoax; the reference is falsified and does not confirm the claim - see talk page.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. JohnCD (talk) 21:11, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (File:Russian Model II.jpg)

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Russian Model II.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 20:00, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Deleting the article doesn't get rid of the picture - that's the formal notice that I have put a tag on it which will mean it gets deleted in seven days. Your article was an unwise thing to do, because the university site you linked to gave her phone number, and that's not a good thing to post in public - she might have got more calls than she wanted. Another reason for being careful what you post on Wikipedia is that there are "mirror sites" which copy WP articles automatically - as they are allowed to by our licence - but deletion from Wikipedia does not get an article deleted from the mirrors and it can linger there indefinitely. I'm just pointing this out in case you should be tempted again... Regards, JohnCD (talk) 20:00, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
