I don't know what you did to this template... but no one reviewed your block because you used the template that administrators use for reviewing unblock requests, and thus it was never checked. Leebo T/C 14:44, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Plasma explosive, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Finngall talk 21:18, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from articles you have created yourself, as you did with Plasma explosive. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. --Finngall talk 21:48, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Plasma explosive. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Finngall talk 22:03, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Various points:

  • Not being psychic, I can only assess an article based on what's there, not on what's going to be there. It is better to wait to post an article until it is done instead of posting an incomplete version and making endless little edits from there. That's what the "Show preview" button is for. Personally, I like to create subpages of my user page for use as a workspace--I can then simply move a finished product to the main article space when it it finished.
  • Remember, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not merely a repository of random information. The article in its current form was tagged for speedy deletion because (in my opinion) at best it would need a complete rewrite to make it into a decent encyclopedia article. What's there now is a bit of a mishmash of sci-fi trivia and unconnected pseudoscience, and none of it is verifiable from reliable sources, which is expected for all material within the article.
  • That said, I have been wrong before, but that's for an administrator to judge. Either an administrator will delete the article or remove the deletion tag. Furthermore, all articles I tag remain on my watchlist until such a decision has been made, and I have rescinded speedy deletion tags if the article has improved to where they are no longer warranted. But until then, the tag should remain. Do not delete it again--removing speedy deletion tags from one's own articles is considered to be vandalism and will be treated as such.

The welcome message I have added above contains many useful links to pages on Wikipedia's policies, procedures, and guidelines. Please read these pages, and feel free to come to me if you have further questions. --Finngall talk 22:35, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have changed the patent nonsense tag to a prod, because the article was not patent nonsense. Please discuss the article in a civil manner on its talk page, Avianmosuito. Leebo T/C 22:39, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
