Buck's Rock

Hello, I've reverted your edits on Buck's Rock twice because they appear to be just copying & pasting off of other pages on the Internet. This is plagarism and is not acceptable on Wikipedia. Please reply here if you have any questions or wish to discuss how to improve the article. Best, Markvs88 (talk) 22:34, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

While I haven't seen the evidence that what you are adding is plagiarized, it does require citations. If you are posting about personal recollections, that's not allowed. If you can find the information in a reliable source, you need to cite it.--SPhilbrickT 16:38, 9 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Mark, I have not been able to add the citations, but I am not adding personal hearsay. I will leave it to say, you can go to the horses mouth, Jo or Carol Jochnowitz. He is in the phone book. Also, it is not hearsay what Jo and Irwin did at the camp, everyone knows it. Jo is an artist and at Bucks rock held several positions, one which included counselor of sculpture, he brought in many of the artists in residence in the 70-81. All can be attested to by contacting Jo, other then me providing my identity, which I will not. Unfortunately, Sybil is not alive to attest to it, but if you open a yearbook from that period, contact the counselors, you will then be able to identify who recruited whom. In addition, Jo did not leave on his own and despite it being a dark period of time for the camp pushing him out, this is something which is part of the history of the camp. If you go to the internet (Facebook) and read the feedback from more the 30 years ago about Jo, you would stop the shenanigans...
Without citations, it is hearsay. You also need to read wp:burden - it's up to you (the author) to make your case, not for me to disprove you. As I've said on my own talk page user talk:Markvs88 I don't care who these people are, and Wikipeida is not interested in truth but wp:verifiability. Facebook is not a reliable source... I can cite it that to "prove" that I've played guitar for Van Halen while I was on the International Space Station in 1928. As for shenanigans, I suggest you learn how to use Wikipedia before you start making baseless accusations. Markvs88 (talk) 18:07, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
