A tag has been placed on Diamond and the Fosters Novel and Feature Film requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. • As reviewing administrator, I have declined that speedy deletion nomination, because I do not think it properly applies to this article; but I am afraid I still do not think the article suitable for Wikipedia, so I have nominated it at WP:Articles for deletion - formal notice and link to the discussion below.
The reason is that, although anyone can edit, Wikipedia is quite selective about subjects for articles. The general inclusion criterion is called Wikipedia:Notability, and is not a matter of opinion but has to be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." For subjects like books and films there are additional notability guidelines, WP:Notability (books) and WP:Notability (film).
I am sorry to seem unwelcoming. There is quite a learning-curve to Wikipedia, but help is always available at the WP:Help desk or by putting {{helpme}} at the bottom of your talk page with a question below it. Here are some pages that you may find helpful:

Removed article from userspace

I've removed the text of the article from your user page. The reason for this is that you've already placed the article in the mainspace, where it is now the topic of an AfD, so a userspace copy is sort of redundant at this point in time. It can also be seen as somewhat promotional, even if this was not your intent. It's not against the rules per se to have articles in your userspace, but you do need to be somewhat careful about how they're written and how you go about posting them. Like John said, there's a learning curve to Wikipedia and sometimes it can be fairly steep. I'd probably recommend that before you make another new article, that you read over the basics of editing on Wikikpedia. I hope that doesn't come across as harsh and it's not meant to be, just that there are a lot of guidelines and it sometimes makes it easier if you start with the basics. • Also, I do have to somewhat warn you about the conflict of interest policy. (WP:COI) I'm mentioning this because the book you wrote about is a fairly obscure self-published book, so the odds are higher that you are someone that is/was involved with the making of the book or the film, or you're someone who knows someone that was/is involved. This doesn't mean that you can't edit, just that it's recommended that you proceed with caution since it's easy to go in with a bit of a bias or to see more notability than might actually exist. The only thing you will need to do is be transparent about this conflict of interest and just put a little brief comment on either your userpage or on the article itself. Again, this doesn't mean that you can't edit, just that you have to proceed cautiously when it comes to editing about something that you have a COI with. Hi. I appreciate you are struggling to write an article about this festival, and I generally help people with new articles where I possibly can. Unfortunately, because a previous discussion has decided this festival is not a suitable subject for Wikipedia, the acceptance barrier to clear is much higher and more work is required.

The problem the festival has is simply that it hasn't been written about very much by neutral third-parties. We need coverage, ideally on a national scale, in newspapers or magazines, where the topic is specifically about the festival. However, when I did a news search on "wildsound film festival", I only found two news pieces. Unfortunately that just isn't enough to be able to write a good, solid article about the film festival. Have a look at Leiden International Film Festival or Berlin International Film Festival, particularly under the "References" section, to see what is required.
