Take care with your edits

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to oral rehydration therapy, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ~Amatulić (talk) 19:40, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Gurgaon. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. ~Amatulić (talk) 19:44, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Take care with your edits

Thank you for your comments. I live in Gurgaon and therefore know the plus points and minus points. Of course, sorry for the changes i made in oral rehydration therapy. i am new and just started. I did not know about the specific uses of tags. If you are not an administrator, then how could you revert the changes? Mr.A (talk) 15:58, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Anybody can edit Wikipedia, not just administrators. Anybody can revert also. There's an "undo" link when you view an edit difference page of an article. The function of administrators is to perform more high-level actions, such as protecting articles from editing in the case of rampant vandalism, and blocking disruptive users from editing.
Regarding your use of tags, if you are unsure of what your edit will look like, click the Preview button before submitting your edit. If your tag link appears in red, then the tag is invalid. ~Amatulić (talk) 05:46, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your help, but may I ask, what do you know about Gurgaon?
Mr.A (talk) 15:51, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
All I know is what the article on Gurgaon already says. I reverted your edits there too: You deleted a tag without explanation, you added a nonsensical phrase to an image caption, and you added your personal signature to the article. ~Amatulić (talk) 22:52, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Oh thank you, I shall take care,
but as you are a traveler, and you love to travel, I would like you to visit Gurgaon once. Then you will understand. I mean no offense and/or threat.Mr.A (talk) 10:34, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'd like to visit anywhere in India sometime! The closest I've come is Singapore (which has a large Indian community). Anyway, welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for understanding why I reverted you. ~Amatulić (talk) 04:20, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ha Ha! Yes, you have mentioned in your user page.Mr.A 10:59, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

File:Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok, Gurgaon.JPG listed for deletion

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, File:Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok, Gurgaon.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. FASTILYsock(TALK) 07:53, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Asimathar, I deleted the image as it was nominated for deletion and there were no objections, nor was the image looking likely to be used. This is just the normal process here, to remove images that do not have a clear use on Wikipedia. After seeing your note I have restored the image and moved it to the commons image repository (see here) so that it can be used on all of the different Wikimedia sites. - Peripitus (Talk) 23:58, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Peripitus....
