ATKMB Issue

Hey! That might be a step but I think I overstepped recently and feel it is best if I step back for a bit. I think we all need to clear our heads for a bit here and reconvene in a couple weeks to restart the discussion of this matter moving forward. I have started two pages in my userspace which I will be working on for a proposal, similar to Hong Kong FC and Hong Kong FC (football). I also need a wikibreak because, between you and me, this has been mentally taxing and that last guy was just something else so, need some time. Mohun Bagan

Hey! How are you? I just want to let you know that I appreciate you and others putting in effort to bring attention to the brigaders from the Mohun Bagan discussions. The fact that the social media posts were also brought up is great too! But yeah, moving forward, we need to get this done. I first want to say that I am now 100% on the side of “this is a brand new club formed between the football department of Mohun Bagan and the now former ISL side ATK FC”.

The reason being is because I have gone and collected and read a lot of reliable sources about this situation. From what is “Mohun Bagan Football Club (India) Private Limited” to what was UB Mohun Bagan Group, and what reliable sources were saying about the merger. You can see all of this here under the “Board” section. After collecting all of these sources I made the “Mohun Bagan” section which details what most likely is the situation.

Hello @ArsenalFan700:. I'm good. WBU? I checked your subpage on MB. That's an extensive research work. TBH, as of now, I'm more inclined to the thing that ATKMB is the continuation of ATK. The website of ISL, I-League, AIFF and the social media handles, all of them are pointing to this thing only. Add these thing in that page. Also, add this. "The new football club will have brand names of ATK and Mohun Bagan. I disagree on this being the continuation of ATK. The facebook handle already says "former ISL club ATK" and if you check the ISL website you can tell this was just simply a lazy job of them editing the logo and name and nothing else. The social media handles on the website still redirect to the old ATK accounts and the website still leads to the old ATK website. IMO, this is just a case of them being lazy and not creating a brand new section. Nothing in the links provided in the page I showed you indicates that this is a continuation of ATK. Also I didn't include the official website because some editors want only reliable, non-primary sourced articles. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 15:39, 30 September 2020 (UTC)

WhiteFalcon1, first thing, am not an admin. Most of the admins have this File:Wikipedia Administrator.svg icon in their user page. This helps to identify who is an admin, and who isn't.
