Nomination of Jamil Abiad for deletion

- The assertion at AFD is that the person in the article does not meet Wikipedia's notability criteria, particularly as they apply to basketball players (and coaches).
- You say that you are a living human and posted your own life story. Please read autobiography for information about why this is probably a bad idea.
- Also can I assume you are a different person than the one who registered an account User:Obaidjamil490 and also seems interested in creating an article about Jamil Abiad (see User:Obaidjamil490)?
- So the way this gets fixed is for someone to bring forward references that can be used to demonstrate that Abiad meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. Without that sort of references, the article will almost certainly be deleted. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 05:03, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

i know i am asking to many questions but really i am new here and wiki system is complicated and even there is no media can help you
Any proof they ask about my as existed person or about my career i can send it to admin to avoid page deletion
i hope you understand how i am worried

- See WP:AUTOBIOGRAPHY. Basically, you should neither create nor edit an article about yourself on Wikipedia. If you do in fact meet Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion - all the signs suggest that you currently do not - then someone will write an article about you sooner or later. That someone should not be you or anyone affiliated with you. If you have no other interest on Wikipedia besides seeing an article about yourself hosted, then you should probably walk away and abandon this account entirely. Yunshui 雲水 12:08, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

- Discussions at AFD usually close in 7 days, but may be extended once or twice for additional 7-day intervals if more discussion is needed.
- If the outcome of the discussion is 'delete', there is nothing more you need to do. If the outcome is 'keep', why would you want to delete it?
- You can still make edit requests on the talk page of the article if there are improvements you think are needed. If you have additional notability references, those can be introduced into the deletion discussion as evidence that notability criteria are met. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 19:35, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
