Speedy deletion nomination of Real Friends

Hello Aparnis,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Real Friends for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Jennie Matthews 97 (talk) 23:30, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Merely being signed to a label, as you claim in the now-deleted talk page, is not sufficient. They must have published at least 2 albums under a notable label. Please see WP:BAND to learn about the criteria a band must meet before it merits an article on Wikipedia. Thanks. ~Amatulić (talk) 06:43, 23 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for further explaining, Amatulic. I will fry again in a year or two, after the band has released a few albums on the label.

Don't let the deletion discourage you. It happens all the time to new editors. Happened to me also when I started here.
Even if the band has one record on the label, they can still have an article if they meet any of the other criteria described in WP:BAND, like if they get listed on a national chart like Billboard, or get national airplay on the radio. I'm just not seeing it yet. ~Amatulić (talk) 16:15, 23 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
