Thank you for the email. Please join the discussion on WikiProject Spam. The conversation is intended to be open to the community since it isn't my opinion or yours that counts but the community consensus, so private emails are generally inappropriate unless there is a compelling need for privacy.

I started the conversation because I had concerns but thought it wasn't cut and dried. Other opinions are encouraged. Unfortunately though I invited the editors who were apparently spamming they did not bother to comment, but merely continued to engage in the same behavior unmodified so we had to act without any of their input. Clarification on InternetEvolution's policies towards, and engagement with Wikipedia would be very helpful. Hopefully we can cooperate in a way that alleviates the concerns raised and helps build the encyclopedia. Thanks. -- SiobhanHansa 01:02, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
