Mercy Redirect

Regarding Mercy: No. Don't be a vandal. Redirecting a page with content to a completely different page on a different subject without discussing it at all with other wikipedians is damaging to the encyclopedia. Don't do that.

However, you seem to be a Kate Mulgrew fan, and, as a diehard Voyager fan myself, I'm inclined to assume you just made a mistake and weren't deliberately trashing the article on Mercy. So welcome to Wikipedia, the Free Encylopedia Everyone Can Edit! That just means we have to careful not to step on one other's toes and delete one another's content, and we've always got to be using those Discussion pages. Thanks! I hope we continue to see you around the project! --BCSWowbagger (talk) 17:54, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And I'm so old I don't see the need to actually log in more than once a month, so I always get my messages late. :P I'm glad to hear it wasn't intentionaly vandalism (very glad, in fact), and I'm sure your subsequent few weeks here have only become smoother and smoother. Wikipedia is a thrilling thing to be a part of, and I'm glad you're here. And, yes, "Year of Hell" was an amazing episode. The producers actually wanted to do the Year of Hell as an entire season, and not "undo" all of it at the end of the episode, but the network said they couldn't. Oh, well. It was still a great two hours of Trek, and I still take great pleasure in gripping my armrests and shouting "Time's up!" at people without warning.
But, then, I'm a bit of a weirdy... ;) See you around the Project! --BCSWowbagger (talk) 23:00, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Your test on the page Kate Mulgrew worked, and has been removed. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing and its related help page for more information. Thank you. –túrianpatois 04:55, 6 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
