A work in progress

Not yet ready to put it, obviously. But comments here always welcome. Andrewa (talk) 16:34, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Style vs content

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia_talk:Article_titles&diff=768234135&oldid=768225868 is an interesting post, making a strong distinction between style and content of article titles. Andrewa (talk) 00:06, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

an on-the-run decision by the earliest editors

Interesting and relevant argument here, specifically it was an on-the-run decision by the earliest editors. Similarly, the aversion to capitalisation was a unilateral suggestion by Larry Sanger, who said at the time it was a personal preference, and it has never been overturned... or justified. More points for discussion

Godwin's law should IMO be Godwin's Law, similarly Pascal's Law 20:51, 8 July 2005‎ Michael Hardy (talk | contribs | block)‎ . . (26 bytes) (+26)‎ . . (Pascal's Law moved to Pascal's law: Capitalization of this "L" conflicts with Wikipedia conventions).

But it's an uphill battle obviously.

Also interesting comment here and my reply re capitalisation of verbal use of proper nouns. Andrewa (talk) 17:39, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
