Welcome to Wikipedia

Let me be the first to welcome you and commend you on your enthusiasm and ability to follow instructions. The Wikipedia mantra is BE BOLD. For me at least, just making an account took a great deal of courage. The next logical step in your Wikipedia indoctrination is to energize your home page. It will serve as an excellent place to learn some of the basic wiki-codes without dorking up an article. Editing skills will require some experimentation and self teaching. The easiest way to start is to visit others and “steal” some ideas. By that - I mean click the edit tab and see their html codes which you can copy and paste into yours. CAREFUL --- don’t edit their page…. COPY not cut!!!!! You can then adjust it to reflect your own personal style. Feel free to be creative. Try to provide some insight into who you are while still maintaining your Anonymity. Personally I like the community’s use of user boxes to provide some insight into your way of thinking. I'm looking at the article now, and I have several suggestions. It may look like a lot of things, but if you think of them as a "to do" list (or steps on a staircase, or whatever image you prefer) and tackle them one by one—step by step—rather than all at the same time, it won't be too hard to do... Old, stupid joke: How did Sally eat the elephant? One bite at a time.
  • Wikipedia has groups of users dedicated to the coverage of a single field or area. These groups are called WikiProjects, and you can usually find a link to the relevant wikiproject(s) for an article on its Talk page... Many of these projects offer guidelines regarding the consensus that has arisen regarding the most logical or useful layout of articles in that area. The wikiproject for your article is (of course) Wikipedia:WikiProject Medicine, and it has a project-specific Manual of Style at Wikipedia:Manual of Style (medicine-related articles). The relvant section would be the one titled Diseases/disorders/syndromes. Whenever possible, you should try to follow that organizational structure for Lymphangioma.
  • Have you ever used Google book search? Perhaps I can show you a few tips and tricks for doing research on your topic.
  • Another important place to look is Wikipedia:Layout. I suspect the external links section and the {{Vascular tumors}} template may be in the wrong place... are they?
  • I have always thought that the very first section (the WP:LEAD) is probably the most important one.
  • Right now, I only wonder about the use of bullet points in Lymphangioma. Doesn't it look a bit odd to have three bullet points beside each other? If somethng looks like it may be wrong, then it may be wrong. :-)
  • The article may rely a bit too heavily on a list-like structure as well... see Wikipedia:Embedded list

Lymphangioma section quoted

Hi, I'm really sorry but I had to remove an entire section of text from your article. The information has hasn't disappeared; it's still available both in the article's Page history and in the original source. I had to rmv the section because (according to Wikipedia:Non-free content) quotations of copyrighted text must be brief, and may be used to illustrate a point, establish context, or attribute a point of view or idea. using a single quotation to form an entire section of the article is not brief, and does much more than the three things listed... please let me know how i can help you.
